Meet Prince, our new kitty cat. She is nine years old and she belongs to my sister. A couple of weeks ago my sister asked me if we would take her and give her a good home. Although I completely disagree with the reasons and would only ask someone to take care of my pets permanently if I were dead (don’t worry, I told my sister all of this)…how could I say no to an unwanted pet who is a member of the family?
Clone is totally interested and I hope to get a picture of them together…well kind of together. She doesn’t want him near her. He persists and she kind of just lets it go after a little while. When Charley, our dog, gets near her, she hisses just like she does to Clone. Even with all of this, she seems to have relaxed little by little since she arrived a little over a week ago.
Since we lost Cinder and Roswell, it’s been void of female pets around here and I have to admit, it’s nice to have a female around again. I know Curtis feels the same way. We’re hoping that Clone and her will be able to get along and hopefully they will become his buddies.
We bought a bunch of cord covers and I already told my sister she’s paying for those. 🙂 Deep down, I know they miss each other and it was really hard at first for Prince, we’re really hoping it will work out and she can stay with us permanently (we always said it’s contingent on Clone’s reaction since he’s our Prozac kitty). As for the cost of caring for Prince, my sister has promised to cover all of her expenses for the rest of her life and I’m going to hold her to that!
