It’s Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week

I follow BlogPaws’ Be the Change for Pets on facebook and they introduced this wonderful challenge to help promote adopting of less adoptable pets. I’m happy to participate.

I want to tell you about a really cute dog I saw on the ARNI Foundation’s facebook page. His name is Skylar and is only 10 months old. He was born blind and did find a home but they brought him back. I hope he can find his forever home. Click on the pictures to link back to facebook and see more information about Skylar.

ARNI Foundation is located in Daytona Beach, Florida and you can reach them at 386-267-0277. If you can’t adopt him, I hope you’ll share this post by tweeting the link to this post or sharing it on facebook or writing your own post about a less adoptable pet who needs a home.

For more information about Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week (which runs through Sept. 25th), visit the Be the Change for Pets facebook page. A few of BlogPaws’ sponsors also offered to chip in donations to shelters for each post written about Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week. So if you have a blog, I hope you’ll consider finding a pet that is less adoptable and blogging about it!

I hope the next time you decide to bring a new pet in your lives, you’ll decide to adopt and search for a pet in need of a good home on petfinder.com.
